At the Sustainable Biomanufacturing Lab, we explore innovative ways to turn waste into value. Working in our two laboratories (M2-Z01 and M2-Z03), we focus on microbial production of high-value compounds that contribute to a more sustainable future. From small-scale flask experiments to large-scale bioreactor fermentations, we bridge the gap between discovery and application. Using advanced HPLC systems, we precisely identify and quantify our products to ensure accuracy and impact.

Our labs are fully equipped with everything needed to bring ideas to life—incubator shakers to grow cultures, bioreactors for scale-up, centrifuges for efficient separation, and biosafety cabinets for sterile operations. This strong infrastructure allows us to design and deliver reliable bioprocesses.
